Title as written by Taimatsu

Before you book
- The 2-hour class starts and ends at 1-9-8 Nishiasakusa, Taito City, on the Kappabashi side of Asakusa. Up to 8 people, taught in English.
- Knife, whetstone, sharpening stand, apron and towel are provided, so you can come empty-handed. You take the sharpened knife home.
- Not suitable for children under 10, babies, wheelchair users, or people with mobility or visual impairments. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed.
- Japan bans carrying a blade over 6 cm without a legitimate reason. Taking a knife you just made or bought back to your hotel or the airport counts, so keep it boxed and wrapped, go straight there, and fly it home in checked luggage, never in your carry-on.
